Experienced in residential lettings or property management and enjoy being out on the road?
We’re recruiting for a Property Inspector to join a highly respected and successful estate agency in Upminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same, while benefiting from excellent training, career progression, and a supportive team environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring rental properties are maintained to a high standard, carrying out inspections, liaising with landlords and tenants, and supporting the wider Property Management team.
The Role
As a Property Inspector, you will:
*Carry out mid-term, check-in, and check-out property inspections
*Produce detailed written and photographic reports using bespoke software on an iPad
*Update landlords on property condition and inspection findings
*Identify maintenance issues and liaise with Property Managers to ensure repairs are completed
*Support tenants with property-related queries and provide professional advice where required
*Assist with deposit negotiations between landlords and tenants
*Prepare documentation for deposit disputes and adjudication when necessary
*Maintain accurate property records and ensure reports are completed within agreed timescales
*Support the wider Property Management team with day-to-day operations
Property Inspector Requirements
*Previous experience within residential lettings or property management
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Proactive with the ability to manage a busy schedule independently
*Confident dealing with landlords and tenants face-to-face
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, tablets, and CRM systems
*Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
