Full job descriptionWe are recruiting a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Master Technician on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership located in Colindale, North West London. *Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum plus bonus and paid overtime on Saturday mornings (1-in-3 rota), with uncapped OTE exceeding £50,000 for Diagnostic Technicians.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
*Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
*Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle faults and develop accurate repair recommendations.
*Conduct electronic visual health checks on all vehicles and prepare detailed reports with customer advice.
*Effectively liaise with customers and service advisors to ensure excellent customer experience.
*Execute repairs and servicing to high standards, adhering to safety protocols.
*Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance technical skills.
*Contribute to process improvements at local and company levels.
*Mentor apprentices and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
*Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence.
*Proven experience in diagnostic procedures and vehicle servicing.
*MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential.
*Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
*Organised with excellent time management capabilities.
*Customer-focused approach, able to explain technical issues clearly.
*Ability to work efficiently within set deadlines as the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
