Join our dynamic team as a Reservations Agent, where you will design bespoke holidays tailored to clients’ preferences, ensuring unique and memorable travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for African safari holidays and a strong background in travel consultancy.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Design and manage bespoke holidays tailored to clients’ preferences, ensuring unique and memorable travel experiences.
*Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
*Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional travel services, packages, and exclusive experiences to enhance the client journey.
*Offer expert advice on destinations, itineraries, and services, guiding clients to make informed decisions.
*Manage client inquiries, bookings, and related administrative tasks efficiently and professionally.
*Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring clients are supported and satisfied throughout the booking process.
*Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
*Stay updated with the latest industry trends to offer clients innovative and relevant travel solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A genuine passion for African safari holidays, with demonstrable knowledge of the destinations we offer.
*Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar client-facing role; however, graduates with a willingness to learn and develop in the role are also considered.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
*Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office.
*Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
*Experience in selling holidays, creating packages, and understanding of the travel market.
