Location: Central London (2 days in office)
Contract: Rolling Contract (Immediate Start)
Salary/Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are currently partnering with a boutique accountancy practice based in London that is looking to bring on an experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist on a rolling contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, professional firm and make an immediate impact supporting a varied client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients
*Processing end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
*Bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide support
*Assisting with month-end and year-end processes as required
Requirements
*Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll roles
*Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
*Strong IT skills and overall computer literacy
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
*Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
*Must have full right to work in the UK
