Description
*Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
*Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
*Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details and payment information.
*Manage payroll queries and provide timely resolutions to employees and stakeholders.
*Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliations.
*Prepare and submit statutory filings, such as PAYE and National Insurance contributions.
*Support audits by providing payroll data and documentation as required.
*Contribute to process improvements within the payroll function.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist - 12 Month FTC should have:
*Experience in end to end payroll processing.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant UK regulations.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders.
*An ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
*A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
