Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Cambridge that are seeking dedicated and reliable General Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to begin a career in education, or you have experience working with children in another setting, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure regular work in local schools.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
*Delivering one-to-one and small group support
*Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
*Encouraging a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Supporting children with a range of additional learning needs

To be considered for this General Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
*Previous experience working with children in any capacity
*A professional, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
*An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one
