Full job descriptionTV Production Company seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team, to look after the group companies and help with reconciliations. If are you are hardworking, dedicated and willing to put in the work there are opportunities to progress and convert to a permanent employee. The Accounts Assistant would be a strong communicator who is able to liaise with stakeholders throughout the business.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant include:
*Responsible for monthly bank reconciliations
*Credit card reconciliations.
*Petty cash reconciliations
*Purchase ledger
*Weekly Cashflow report
*Invoices (registration, payment, related queries)
*Preparing Banks Runs via Bacs, SEPA and International payments.
*Preparing and Analysis the creditor reports
*Daily posting of all receipts, bank charges, direct debits
*Collection/Deposit of cash from the Bank
*Maintaining the Bank Accounts list of open and closed accounts
*Maintaining the direct debit and other regular postings log
*Assistance with year-end and audit processes and requirements
*Project accounting
*Supporting the Team Leader
*Liaising with stakeholders throughout the business

Requirements for the Accounts Assistant include:
*Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping
*A finance or related degree, AAT or Maths A ’level
*Experience in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc)
*Excellent communication skills
*Team player
