Trade Plate Driver - Fixed Term Location: Near Bicester
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Fixed-term / Flexible ad-hoc hours (no guaranteed hours)
Job OverviewWe are currently recruiting experienced Trade Plate Drivers to join a well-established UK automotive logistics and dealer services group with over 100 years of industry experience.
This role involves collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide on a flexible, ad-hoc basis depending on operational needs. You will be responsible for moving vehicles safely and professionally between locations.
Key Responsibilities*Collect and deliver vehicles across the UK using trade plates
*Travel back to base via train after each assignment
*Carry out basic vehicle checks and familiarisation where required
*Use a company-issued Samsung tablet to complete job details
*Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
*Provide a professional and courteous service at all times
Requirements*Full, clean UK manual driving licence (essential)
*Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
*Previous experience as a Trade Plate Driver or similar role preferred
*Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles
*Strong customer service skills
*Comfortable using tablets and digital systems
*Flexible, reliable, and able to work on an ad-hoc basis
*Positive and professional attitude
