Location: Wigan or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £30,000 – £32,000 and full benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Advisor – Construction Products & Building Supplies will involve:
*Internally based technical sales advisor position selling a distributed range of construction products such as: concrete repair, waterproofing, screeding, joint filling, grouts & anchors, sealants, protective coating etc
*The majority of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants such as: Keyline, Travis Perkins, Buildbase and Jewson
*The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors
*Inheriting circa 115-20 spending accounts that need day to day management
*Will have other responsibility for example supporting in the warehouse when needed
*Will be expected to generate new business however this will be predominantly with existing accounts
The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Advisor – Construction Products & Building Supplies with:
*Ideally be in an internal sales, trade counter, customer service role currently in the building trade
*Would suit someone working within a merchants / distributors such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Buildbase, Selco etc as a trade counter sales person
*Ideally will have strong account management skills
*Must be able to build relationships and break down doors
*Enthusiastic
*Professional, organised and driven
