Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Quality Inspector for their production facility in Tuxford.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing business that is committed to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products to customers across the construction sector.
As the Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, British Standards and internal quality requirements, working closely with production teams to maintain the highest manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out inspections throughout the manufacturing process from goods in to final sign off
*Verify dimensions, tolerances and finishes against engineering drawings and customer specifications.
*Conduct and record quality inspections and testing throughout production.
*Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
*Complete inspection records, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective action documentation.
*Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
*Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, relevant British Standards and company quality procedures.
*Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve quality issues and promote best practice.
*Champion safe working practices and support the company’s health, safety and environmental objectives.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection position and enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.
You’ll also have:
*Experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
*The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider production team.
*HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
