Full job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established business based in Park Royal. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a traditional finance environment and has a strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals. This role is temporary for an initial 3 months but has the opportunity to be extended and potentially go permanent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clear an invoice backlog, managing bank reconciliations, and supporting the Accounts Payable and Sales Ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing and clearing an existing invoice backlog
*Performing regular bank reconciliations
*Managing Accounts Payable (AP) activities
*Supporting the Sales Ledger (SL) function
*Posting and processing manual journal entries
*Ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date
*Assisting with general bookkeeping duties as required
About You
*Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
*Someone immediately available
*Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50
*Confident processing manual entries
*Excellent understanding of debits and credits
*Able to think outside the box and work independently
*Comfortable working in a more traditional, hands-on finance environment
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
