Coventry | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
A well-established and growing engineering services business is seeking a Service Controller to join their busy operations team, supporting delivery across a major national contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in service coordination, administration, or engineering support environments.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative service team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of planned and reactive works across multiple sites nationwide.
Key responsibilities include:
*Coordinating and scheduling engineers for emergency callouts and reactive works
*Managing incoming service requests and responding to customer queries
*Liaising closely with engineers, clients, and subcontractors
*Updating internal service systems, portals, and revenue tracking tools
*Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and supporting costing activities
*Monitoring job progress and ensuring service delivery targets are met
*Providing general administrative support to the service function
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a service coordination, helpdesk, or engineering admin role
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
*Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
*Good IT skills, including experience using service management systems
*A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Desirable:
*Experience within HVAC, FM, or a related engineering/service industry
*Understanding of job costing, scheduling, and service delivery processes

*Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience)
