An established and growing engineering organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement within the business.
This is a standalone, newly created role offering the opportunity to design and implement procurement strategy, introduce structure, and support ongoing business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement procurement strategy, processes, and controls
*Take ownership of supplier relationships and performance
*Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract management activity
*Identify cost reduction and value enhancement opportunities
*Partner with stakeholders across the business to support operations
*Support the organisation as it expands into new markets
Candidate Requirements:
*Proven experience in procurement within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment
*Experience setting up or improving procurement processes
*Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
*Able to work autonomously and take ownership of a function
Additional Information:
*Office-based role, strong preference for on-site working
*Initial 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
