A well-established and growing engineering manufacturer within the ventilation sector is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist business producing bespoke equipment for both new build and refurbishment projects.
The Role
Working within a small, skilled workshop team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of bespoke ventilation and air handling components.
Key responsibilities include:
*Manufacturing bespoke ductwork, silencers, plenums, and air handling components
*Working with galvanised sheet metal (typically 0.9mm – 3.0mm)
*Operating machinery including hydraulic presses and cutting equipment
*Interpreting technical drawings and fabrication sketches
*Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
*Maintaining strong health and safety practices at all times
*Liaising with the workshop supervisor and wider team
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator within a relevant industry
*Experience working with galvanised sheet metal
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Good practical skills and attention to detail
*Physically capable of handling materials and tools
*Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively within a team
*Basic maths skills

*Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
*Full-time, permanent position

*Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
*Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
