Join a leading company in the logistics and transportation industry as a Global Sales Executive. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management. You will be instrumental in driving business development, securing new business opportunities, and developing key customer relationships to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a portfolio of named accounts, securing new business opportunities from target and prospect customers.
*Achieve agreed new business and revenue targets consistently.
*Maintain accurate and timely updates within the CRM system.
*Coordinate internal resources across product, service, regional, and specialist teams to support customer requirements.
*Develop tailored logistics solutions, including process mapping, cost-benefit analysis, and solution presentations.
*Support the onboarding and transition of new customers through introductions, information transfer, and documentation completion.
*Assist with accounts receivable activities as required.
*Attend training and development sessions to enhance sales capabilities and industry knowledge.
*Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and forecasting information.
*Undertake additional duties and projects as required to support business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum 10 years’ sales experience within the logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation industry.
*Strong network of industry contacts and established business relationships.
*Excellent understanding of supply chain concepts, logistics solutions, process mapping, and cost drivers.
*Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
*Strong problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management abilities.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
*Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
*Proficient in using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
*Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
*Energetic, proactive, persuasive, and results-oriented approach.
*Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing customer needs.
*High levels of accountability and ownership for achieving results.
