Reed Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary academy in Slough for a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.
This is a full-time, long-term position, working five days per week throughout the 2026/27 academic year, supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
*Support children with a range of SEND, including Autism, speech and language difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, and learning difficulties.
*Work closely with class teachers, SEND professionals and parents.
*Deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

What We’re Looking For

*Have experience supporting children with SEND in primary, secondary or specialist settings.
*Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
*Have experience with Autism, SEMH, ADHD or communication needs (advantageous).
