Venn Group are working with a well-established charity organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to provide interim support and lead key finance improvement projects.


Key Responsibilities
*Manage and oversee the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process
*Lead and support the Purchasing Team and Finance Officer
*Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
*Identify opportunities to improve finance systems, processes, and workflows
*Make recommendations for system and process enhancements and lead implementation of approved changes
*Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to improve efficiency and financial control
*Support finance operations with ad hoc project work as required
*Ensure accurate financial processing and reporting in line with charity sector requirements


Key Requirements
*Previous experience working within a charity finance environment
*Strong understanding of charity accounting processes, including partial exemption VAT
*Proven experience managing staff within a finance function
*Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay and Accounts Payable processes
*Confident using finance systems and adapting to new technology
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
