We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lambeth on a full-time basis (5 days per week). The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience in a pastoral support role within a school setting.
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and student wellbeing.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach.
*A degree is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide pastoral support to students, promoting their wellbeing, attendance, and engagement.
*Build positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies.
*Support behaviour management strategies and help create a positive learning environment.
*Work closely with teaching staff and the safeguarding team to ensure students receive appropriate support.
*Monitor student progress and contribute to intervention plans.
*Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times.
