Location: Lewisham
Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and supportive school? We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Science Technician to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly school with an excellent working environment, where your contribution is valued and there are genuine opportunities for professional development and career progression.
We’re looking for someone with:
*Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or similar setting.
*Strong scientific knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
*A science-related degree (preferred).
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare, set up and clear away equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
*Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are readily available.
*Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies when required.
*Ensure laboratories are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
*Support teachers and students during practical activities where appropriate.
*Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety in accordance with current regulations.
