Full job descriptionRobert Half has partnered with a global engineering and industrial services business to recruit for a Group Reporting Manager.
Knutsford | Hybrid (2-3 days on-site, flexible) | £80,000 - £90,000 + up to 20% bonus
A well-established, internationally operating business is looking to strengthen its finance leadership with an experienced Group Reporting Manager. You’ll take charge of a small team and act as a key link between technical accounting and the wider finance function, helping shape how the group reports and controls its numbers as the organisation continues to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Leading the group’s consolidation cycle and producing clear, insight-led reporting for monthly, half-year and annual cycles
*Taking ownership of statutory accounts, both at group level and for UK subsidiaries
*Managing, coaching and growing a small team of accountants
*Working closely with FP&A colleagues on budgets, forecasts and longer-term planning
*Building out stronger financial controls and reducing reporting risk
*Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors during the consolidation audit
*Keeping accounting policies current and consistent with IFRS
*Spotting opportunities to simplify and modernise how the finance function reports
What You’ll Bring
*ACA (or equivalent) qualification, Big 4 trained
*A track record of leading and developing finance teams
*Hands-on experience with statutory and management reporting at group or PLC level
*Good working knowledge of financial control frameworks
*A track record of improving reporting processes and documentation
*Comfortable working with senior stakeholders across the business
