We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and experienced HLTA to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Welling, Bexley. This is a full-time, long-term/permanent position offering the opportunity to work across all primary year groups, supporting pupils and staff to achieve the very best outcomes.
The Role*Full-time HLTA position
*September start
*Long-term with the potential to become permanent
*Based in Welling, Bexley
*Provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
*Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Support pupils with a range of learning needs
*Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to promote pupil progress and wellbeing
Requirements*Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar role within a UK primary school
*HLTA qualification is desirable, or equivalent experience
*Confident leading whole-class learning when required
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Flexible, proactive, and able to work across all primary year groups
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
