Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in welcoming secondary schools across Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact on students’ academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
*Support students during lessons on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
*Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
*Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
*Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required.
*Encourage independence, confidence and positive classroom behaviour.
*Assist with intervention sessions and classroom preparation.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with children or young people in schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching or similar settings.
*Is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
*Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a school team.
*Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
