Full job descriptionElectrical Maintenance Engineer (HVAP Training Provided)
Location: North West London - Static Large Site
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Upper banding dependent on HVAP status)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
About the RoleAre you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, rewarding role within a thriving educational environment?
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a diverse educational campus.
*Fault-find and rectify issues with single/three-phase power, lighting, distribution boards, and emergency systems.
*Once trained/qualified, act as the site’s High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP), managing HV switching schedules and issuing permits to work.
*Oversee external contractors and ensure all work complies with health, safety, and building regulations.
*Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.
What We Are Looking For*Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) and 18th Edition.
*Experience: Proven track record in commercial or large-scale site maintenance (e.g., universities, hospitals, corporate headquarters).
*HVAP Status: Ideally already an HVAP (securing the £50k-£55k bracket), OR a strong electrical background with the drive to undergo HV training (starting in the £45k-£50k bracket).
