Salary: £34-40,000 annual salary (dependent on experience)
Location: Richmond
A well-established architectural and design studio is looking to appoint a skilled Architectural Technician for a 3-month contract at its Richmond office. This position will involve supporting the delivery of a variety of leisure, spa, and fitness developments by producing accurate technical documentation and collaborating closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce detailed technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation using AutoCAD.
*Prepare and coordinate technical information across all phases of project delivery.
*Assist in the preparation of planning applications, Building Regulations submissions, and statutory approvals.
*Work closely with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and design consistency.
*Revise and maintain drawing packages in response to project updates and site requirements.
*Provide technical support from the initial design stages through to project completion.
Requirements
*Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK architectural practice.
*Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
*Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing.
*Demonstrated experience producing technical drawing packages for planning and construction stages.
*High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
