Academics is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive school in West Sussex seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
As the successful SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons that meet the diverse needs of your pupils, helping them to develop both academically and personally. You will work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, families, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
The successful candidate will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching primary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting.
*A sound understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs and effective strategies to support learning.
*Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
*A positive, patient, and adaptable approach with a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
