Full job descriptionAccounts Payable Assistant
Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Newcastle based business with their temporary Accounts Payable Assistant vacancy. This is a 12 month contract with hybrid working.
The Role
As Accounts Payable Assistant, you will:
*Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and receipts
*Maintain and update supplier records and respond to supplier enquiries
*Manage team email inbox and respond to queries promptly
*Reconcile supplier statements
*Schedule and prepare payments
*Process expense claims
*Adhoc tasks across the function
The Candidate
To be successful, you’ll need:
*Previous experience in an accounts payable role
*Microsoft Excel experience
*High level of attention to detail
*Clear communicator and a collaborative team player
