This well-established accountancy practice is located less than a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle and is surrounded by an excellent selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. Enjoy a walk along the River Thames on your lunch break before returning to a friendly and professional working environment.
An opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Practice Accountant to join the team on a 3-month temporary contract. This varied role will involve supporting the practice with accounts preparation, VAT reviews, VAT returns and assisting with a large Xero to Sage migration project. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
*Reviewing accounts prepared by other team members.
*Reviewing and preparing VAT returns.
*Preparing statutory accounts and working papers.
*Assisting with general accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio.
*Supporting a major client Xero to Sage migration project, including data migration and reconciliations.
*Providing ad hoc support to the wider practice team as required.
Skills & Experience Required
*Part-qualified ACCA or ACA (or equivalent).
*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
*Experience preparing statutory accounts and VAT returns.
*Knowledge of Xero and Sage accounting software.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

*3-month temporary contract
*£40k – £50k FTE, depending on experience
