Full job descriptionSecurity Service Engineer – Door Entry, Access Control & CCTV- South East London- £35,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary + On-Call Allowance + Overtime
*£35,000 - £42,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
*Company vehicle.
*1 in 7 on-call rota
*£150 standby payment per on call week.
*Door to door pay for out of hours call outs
*Monday to Friday working hours.
*22 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days with length of service.
*Long-term career with an established and growing business.
Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a well-established fire and security company covering South East London.
This is a service, fault finding and maintenance role, with no installation work involved.
The successful engineer will primarily work on door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
Security Service Engineer Role & Responsibilities
*Service, maintain and fault find on door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
*Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimise system downtime.
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
*Complete service reports and paperwork accurately.
*Identify remedial works and report findings where required.
*Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site.
*Participate in a 1 in 7 on-call rota
Security Service Engineer Skills & Experience Required
*Proven experience servicing and maintaining door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*Competent working across a wide range of security systems.
*Previous experience within a service and maintenance role (not installation).
*Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent is essential.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
