Full job descriptionCasual HGV Refuse Collection Driver / Loader to join a team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

As a truck driver in refuse collection, you’ll:
*Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
*Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
*Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
*Complete relevant paperwork in real time
*Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
*Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
*Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
Your typical working hours will be:
*7am to 3.30pm, Monday - Friday
What you’ll need to do the role:
*Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
*Driver CPC
*Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Self-motivated
*Willingness to undertake tasks
*Clean drivers licence
*Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential
