This is an exciting opportunity to join our client at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation. As a newly created role within their expanding organisation, it offers the chance to shape how they set, manage and communicate rents and service charges, and to make a meaningful impact on the services they provide to customers. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking environment where collaboration is valued, ideas are encouraged, and there is real momentum behind improving how they deliver fair, transparent and high-quality housing services.
You’ll be responsible for setting and reviewing rents and service charges, ensuring customers and colleagues receive clear, accurate and timely information on how service costs are recovered across their properties. Acting as the in-house expert, the postholder will draw on regulatory knowledge, best practice and an understanding of residents’ housing needs to ensure our clients approach is compliant, transparent, fair and delivers value for money. You will also provide expert advice and support to internal teams, helping to ensure rent and service charge processes run smoothly, efficiently and in line with regulatory standards and relevant legislation.
What you’ll do:
*Ensure rent and service charge setting is accurate, compliant with legislation, regulatory standards, contracts and internal policies.

*Reconcile actual and estimated service charge costs, producing year-end accounts and informing future budgets.
*Maintain and improve systems, data and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and a single source of truth.
*Support colleagues and residents with queries and communications, while staying up to date with legislation and best practice.
Who you are:
