*Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile supplier statements to ensure account accuracy.
*Handle payment runs, ensuring all payments are made on schedule.
*Investigate and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies with suppliers.
*Maintain up-to-date and organised purchase ledger records.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting as required.
*Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
*Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
*Experience in purchase ledger or a similar accounting role.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
*A good understanding of financial processes and reconciliations.
