The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Powder Paint Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications and industry standards
Job Description
*Prepare and clean surfaces prior to coating.
*Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
*Apply powder paint to components following technical guidelines.
*Hang parts on the power line track for coating and remove them after processing.
*Pick and organise components for coating according to production schedules.
*Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards.
*Perform 100% kit verification before processing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
*Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
*Maintain a clean and organised work area.
*Adhere to health and safety regulations at all time
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
*Previous experience in powder coating or a similar role (preferred).
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
*Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
*Knowledge of different powder coating techniques and finishes.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or job sheets.
*Forklift licence or experience handling materials safely.
*Basic maintenance skills for coating equipment.

*Working hours are rotating shifts - 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday and then onto the PM Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2pm - 8:00pm.
