Full job descriptionPosition - Business Studies Teacher
Location - Canterbury
Start Date - September 2026
Salary - MPS/UPS - depending on experience - PAYE!
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a range of secondary schools in Canterbury and the surrounding areas who are looking for Business Studies Teachers from September 2026 for various lengths of contract.
The role:
*Plan and deliver exciting Business Studies lessons across the Key Stages
*Inspire and motivate students with proven teaching strategies to ensure success
*Assess and monitor the progress of students ensuring effective support is put in place where necessary
*Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Business Studies curriculum and Department
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
*Proven experience of teaching Business Studies in a secondary school setting
*Be willing to teach some Computer Science lessons when required
*Excellent behaviour management strategies to ensure the best possible learning environment
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
*Legal right to work in the UK
