Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join a specialist SEN school located in Sheffield (S11).
This school is part of a large and well-established multi-academy trust and is known for its strong commitment to a nurturing, child-centred approach. The school supports pupils with a wide range of complex and high-level special educational needs and provides a safe, structured, and highly supportive learning environment.
They are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging, differentiated learning and who understands the importance of emotional regulation, relationship-building, and trauma-informed practice.
The RoleAs a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex learning difficulties. You will work closely with support staff and therapists to ensure every pupil receives a holistic and consistent approach to their education.
You will create a positive and structured classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and able to engage in learning at their own pace.
We’re Looking ForWe would love to hear from:
*Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
*ECTs with a strong interest in SEN
*Teachers with experience in special schools or alternative provisions
*Teachers from mainstream backgrounds with strong pastoral or behaviour experience
The ideal candidate will be:
*Patient, resilient, and highly empathetic
*Confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
*Skilled in differentiating learning for a wide range of abilities
*Passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
*A strong team player with excellent communication skills

How to Achieve the Higher Pay RateThe higher end of the pay scale (up to £232 per day) is available to teachers who can demonstrate significant experience in SEN or specialist education settings. This may include previous leadership responsibilities, extensive SEN teaching experience, or a strong track record of success in alternative provision or special school environments.
Teachers who can evidence expertise in behaviour management, EHCP delivery, curriculum adaptation, and supporting pupils with complex and high needs are more likely to be considered for the higher rate.
