Accounts Assistant Semi Senior

Our client is a successful independent accountancy practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service. With a loyal and growing client portfolio, the firm is continuing to expand and is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior or Semi Senior to join its friendly and supportive team.

The Role
As part of a busy and collaborative team, your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
*Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
*Preparing personal and partnership tax returns.
*Supporting clients with accounting software, including cloud-based accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks.
*Undertaking bookkeeping duties where required.
*Assisting with payroll processing during busy periods.
*Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent day-to-day support and advice.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*At least 2-3 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice.
*Experience preparing accounts for a variety of business entities.
*AAT qualification, be studying towards ACCA/ACA, or be qualified by experience.
*Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service.
*A desire to continue developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
