Often the word ’passionate’ is overused in job adverts but I think when it comes to teaching it is imperative. Your passion for Mathematics is going to be the difference between an engaged and disengaged class.
Thrive education are partnering with a successful Academy in Cheltenham with their recruitment of a long term Maths Teacher.
Joining a well-established department, with an inclusive and collaborative approach you will feel welcome from day one and afforded all the support and guidance you need to settle in and ensure your students are getting the best version of you.
You will need to hold QTS but they are open to people from all stages in their career, a seasoned pro or up and coming superstar!
What to do next?
Alongside your unwavering passion and interest with the field you will need:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
*If not qualified, then a proven history of teaching mathematics to GCSE Standard
*Specialisation or experience in teaching Mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4.
