Linux Platform Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working
A leading telecommunications company is looking for an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale, high-availability customer platform.
Working within an Agile operations team, you’ll be responsible for Linux administration, platform maintenance, patching, deployments, capacity management, incident resolution, and supporting the evolution of a next-generation platform.
Essential Skills*Linux Systems Administration
*Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability environments
*VMware
*Docker, Podman or container technologies
*Strong operational support and troubleshooting experience
*Security-focused approach to platform management
Desirable Skills*Bash scripting
*SQL
*Kafka, Cassandra or Hazelcast
*Monitoring tools (e.g. CheckMK, Selenium)
*IP Networking and RADIUS
*SIEM tools
