Full job descriptionCNC Turner | Romsey | Earn up to £40,000 with overtime, bonus schemes, and early finishes every Friday.
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established engineering business in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing team producing precision components for the aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities:You’ll play an important role in producing high-quality precision components by:
*Setting up and operating CNC turning machines
*Programming CNC machines using G-code and making machine adjustments where required
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
*Selecting the correct tooling, fixtures, and materials
*Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment
*Maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards
*Troubleshooting machining issues to minimise downtime
*Following health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean workspace
What we’re looking for:We’re looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience as a CNC Turner
*A strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
*Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
*CNC programming knowledge, ideally with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol controls
*Experience using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A full UK driving licence
