Senior Software Developer required for a HealthTech, tech-for-good business delivering software that supports patient care and rehabilitation across the healthcare sector.

This is a hands-on senior developer role, not purely architectural. You will design, build and maintain features on a live SaaS platform, working closely with product and clinical teams in a regulated healthcare environment. It’s a genuine opportunity to work on technology with real, measurable impact on people’s health outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
*Design and develop software features using Java, AWS and PostgreSQL
*Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
*Participate in code reviews and QA processes
*Troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues
*Contribute to technical documentation and API specs
*Mentor junior developers


Essential Skills:
*5+ years commercial software development experience
*Advanced Java
*Advanced Spring (Spring Web MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring AMQP, Spring OAuth2)
*Advanced SQL, ideally PostgreSQL
*Cloud architecture experience, ideally AWS
*Strong security best-practice knowledge
*Version control, testing, code review experience
*Strong communication skills
*Able to work independently and mentor junior team members
