Role Type: Temporary (term-time only, Monday to Friday)
Position: PMLD Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Variety of specialist schools across Doncaster
Pay Rate: £92.56 - £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Higher rate dependent upon experience, training, qualifications, and client rate available.

Academics is looking for a compassionate and resilient PMLD Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality care and educational support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties across Doncaster’s specialist provisions.
What You’ll Do:
*Deliver personalised, sensory-based support (e.g., hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, and Makaton)
*Assist with complex personal care, moving & handling, and feeding routines with dignity
*Collaborate with therapists and teachers to implement EHCP targets and multi-sensory learning plans

What You Need:
*Minimum Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent (or relevant health/care background)
