Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary academy in the Blackpool area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 (TA3) to support a Year 3 class. Your new role
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and socially. Working closely with the class teacher and wider support staff, you will help deliver engaging learning activities and provide targeted interventions to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting teaching and learning across the Year 3 curriculum.
*Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions.
*Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
*Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
*Supporting pupils with varying learning needs.
*Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
*Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful applicant will:
*Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
*Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
*Demonstrate strong knowledge of Key Stage 2, particularly Lower KS2.
*Be confident delivering interventions in reading, writing and mathematics.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Be proactive, flexible and committed to supporting pupil achievement.
*Possess a genuine passion for helping children develop both academically and personally.
