Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour PAYE
Hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
About the RoleWe are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to help keep local streets, parks and public areas clean and well maintained.
This is a physical outdoor role working in all weather conditions. Duties will include litter picking, emptying bins, sweeping public areas and helping to maintain a clean environment for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities*Litter picking in public areas
*Emptying litter and dog waste bins
*Sweeping streets, paths and public spaces
*Reporting fly tipping, vandalism and health and safety issues
*Helping to keep parks, beaches and public facilities clean
*Using basic equipment safely and correctly
*Working as part of a team to maintain cleanliness standards
Requirements*Reliable and hardworking
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
*Good timekeeping and attendance
*Able to carry out physical work
*Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
*Previous grounds maintenance, cleaning, waste or environmental services experience would be beneficial
