Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Flexible)
Reporting to: Finance Manager
About the RoleWe’re working with a growing, multi-site business based in Birmingham that is looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a Management Accountant.
This role sits at the heart of the finance team, supporting decision-making through accurate reporting, commercial insight, and ownership of key financial processes.
You’ll be joining a business that is scaling, meaning there is strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape processes as the function evolves.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership
*Budgeting and forecasting support
*Business partnering with operational teams
*Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
*Supporting process improvements across finance
*Assisting with audit and year-end reporting
What You’ll Be Working With*Excel (advanced level expected)
*ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
*Financial reporting and forecasting tools
What We’re Looking For*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
*Experience producing full sets of management accounts
*Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
*Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
*Commercial mindset with attention to detail
Nice to Have*Experience in a fast-paced or scaling business
*Exposure to business partnering
*Background in multi-site or product-based environments
