*Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
*Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation and reporting tasks.
*Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for strategic decision-making.
*Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
*Support audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights.
*Assist in the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
