39 Hours per Week & PermanentWe’re recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at in Mere, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of engineering operations across a busy manufacturing site while playing a key role in major re-engineering & new product development projects.
What’s in it for you?*£40,000-£45,000 per annum
*39-hour working week

*Involvement in major re-engineering & product development projects
*Permanent role based in Mere, Wiltshire
Your responsibilities will include:*Carrying out hands-on fault finding, repairs & preventative maintenance on mechanical & electrical equipment
*Diagnosing breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime
*Programming & maintaining industrial machinery
*Supporting major engineering & re-engineering projects across the business
*Improving equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
*Maintaining engineering records, documentation & maintenance procedures
*Supporting new product development alongside the Head of Product
About YouWe’re looking for an experienced engineer in Mere, Wiltshire who enjoys being hands-on. You’ll ideally have:
*Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
*Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery
*Excellent fault-finding & diagnostic skills
*Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
*Experience working within a manufacturing environment
*Strong communication & organisational skills
*A proactive approach to continuous improvement
It would be advantageous if you have experience with:
*CNC machinery
*PLC programming
*Visual Basic programming
*Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or PFMEA
*Engineering project management
*Facilities or building maintenance
