Behaviour Mentor - HackneyProspero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a mainstream secondary school in Hackney. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with SEN experience, behaviour support backgrounds, or support workers looking to move into education.
Role Details:
*Location: Hackney
*Position: Behaviour Mentor
*Contract: Full-time, full academic year
*Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 support for a student with complex emotional and academic needs
*Manage and support challenging behaviour
*Supervise and support the student throughout the school day
*Help create a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements:
*Previous SEN or behaviour support experience
*Experience working with challenging behaviour
*Team Teach training desirable
*Safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided)
*Right to Work in the UK
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Two professional references
