Full job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Print Finisher to join a busy production team. If you have hands-on experience with commercial print finishing equipment and take pride in producing high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Print Finisher, you will carry out a range of print finishing processes to ensure all printed materials meet the highest quality standards and client specifications. You’ll work closely with our print and design teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate guillotines safely and accurately.
*Complete PUR binding for books and brochures.
*Perform die cutting of printed products.
*Produce saddle-stitched booklets.
*Operate folding, laminating, creasing, perforating and other finishing equipment.
*Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
*Pack and prepare finished jobs for dispatch.
*Carry out routine equipment maintenance and report faults.
*Collaborate with print and design teams to meet production deadlines.
*Follow all health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Proven experience in print finishing.
*Experience operating guillotines, PUR binders, die cutters and stitching equipment.
*Strong knowledge of commercial print production.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Good organisational and communication skills.
*Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
*Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
*Commercial print industry experience.
*Mechanical aptitude.
*Flexibility to work overtime when required.
*Full, clean driver’s licence.
*Forklift licence or experience.
