Full job descriptionSENCo - Full-Time | Non-Class-BasedAre you an experienced and passionate SENCo looking for your next leadership opportunity?
Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated SENCo to lead and develop its SEND provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive leadership team where inclusion is at the heart of school life. You’ll play a key role in shaping SEND strategy, supporting staff, delivering targeted interventions, and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
The Role:*Lead and manage SEND provision across the school.
*Work closely with senior leaders to drive an inclusive approach.
*Support teachers and coordinate effective interventions.
*Deliver small-group intervention sessions and occasional cover teaching.
*Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
We’re Looking For:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*NASENCo qualification (or equivalent).
*Experience leading SEND provision, ideally within a primary setting.
*Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practice.
*A passionate leader committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
