As a Commercial Underwriter you will:
*Drive regional growth by hitting income, profit and performance targets
*Manage a portfolio of broker accounts, balancing strong relationships with commercial discipline
*Underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term changes within agreed authority levels
*Build and maintain trusted relationships with key brokers to strengthen market presence
*Deliver against premium and loss ratio targets while keeping an eye on long-term profitability
*Ensure all documentation, surveys and reporting are accurate and up to date
*Review cases to maintain underwriting quality and consistency


As a Commercial Underwriter you will have:
*At least 2 years’ experience in commercial underwriting or broking
*Strong track record of managing and growing broker relationships
*Confident negotiator with a sharp eye for risk and pricing
*Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and profitability
*Consistent delivery against targets and objectives
*Comfortable working across teams in a collaborative environment
*Solid understanding of the insurance market and trading dynamics
