We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking an experienced Creative Operations Manager to join a busy in-house creative studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to creative environments, ensuring projects run smoothly while enabling designers, copywriters and marketers to do their best work.
You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, overseeing workflow, resource planning and stakeholder communication across a high-volume portfolio of digital marketing projects.
The RoleThis is a hands-on operational role where you’ll oversee the delivery of around 20 creative briefs and 200 digital assets each month, ensuring projects remain on schedule, teams are effectively resourced and stakeholders are kept informed throughout the creative process.
You’ll act as the central point of coordination between marketing, creative and production teams, managing priorities, identifying bottlenecks before they impact delivery and driving continuous improvements across studio operations.
Alongside workflow management, you’ll also support content productions, coordinating logistics for video shoots and occasionally attending shoots to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities*Own the day-to-day operations of a busy in-house creative studio.
*Manage project workflows from brief through to final delivery.
*Coordinate creative resource planning, assigning work across the team based on capacity and priorities.
*Chase outstanding briefs and ensure projects are correctly scoped before entering production.
*Build and maintain project timelines, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
*Use Monday to manage workflows, project tracking and reporting.
*Proactively identify resource constraints and workflow bottlenecks before they affect delivery.
*Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
*Drive improvements to studio processes and identify opportunities for automation through AI.
*Support the development of AI agents and workflow automation to improve operational efficiency.
*Coordinate small video and photography shoots, including scheduling, logistics and supplier management.
*Arrange filming permits where required and liaise with local authorities for public location approvals.
*Attend shoots to provide production support and ensure operations run smoothly.
*Coordinate production documentation, schedules and post-production handovers.
About YouYou’ll be an experienced Creative Operations, Studio or Project Manager who enjoys working in fast-paced creative environments. You’re highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple moving parts while supporting both creative teams and business stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience*Previous experience in Creative Operations, Studio Management, Project Management or Production Management.
*Strong experience managing creative workflows within an agency, in-house studio or marketing environment.
*Experience using project management platforms such as Monday (highly desirable), Asana or similar.
*Excellent project planning, scheduling and resource management skills.
*Confident communicating with internal stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
*Experience identifying workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
*Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
*Comfortable coordinating video or photography productions.
*Experience using or implementing AI tools to improve workflows and operational processes.
Desirable*Experience building AI agents or workflow automations.
*Knowledge of filming permits, production logistics and location management.
*Experience supporting creative or marketing teams delivering digital campaigns.
*Previous line management or team leadership experience.
